1. Determine your meeting objectives with in mind what you would really like to know
2. Choose the advisors carefully
3. Create a good mix of participants for a diversity of opinions
4. Determine the place and date according to your advisers; make sure you can accommodate them at best
5. Go straight to the point and apply the ‘less is more’ mindset
6. Give enough time to create a favorable environment for the exchange
7. Be authentic; share with them your real concerns by asking for their help in order to reap all the benefits of their experience; they'll be generous in their response
8. Make sure the facilitator can leverage credibility, neutrality, transparency and outspokenness to adapt and bounce with ease based on discussions and topics
9. Keep your promises: Start on time and finish on time
10. Create multiple touch points to keep the advisors engaged
11. And finally (bonus!), determine without delay the action plan based on the actionable insights

La campagne incite les gens à visiter le site web, www.levezlamainpourlediabete.ca, afin d’y trouver des informations pratiques sur la gestion du diabète et les ressources disponibles, mais propose surtout de devenir une voix pour le contrôle du diabète. Les personnes diabétiques, leurs proches et les professionnels de la santé sont invités à partager leur histoire via une image ou une citation et ce dans le but d’enrichir la conversation pour tous les Québécois atteints de la maladie.
Durant le mois de novembre, pour chaque mention « J’aime » reçue sur la page www.facebook.com/levezlamainpourlediabete, la compagnie pharmaceutique Sanofi a versé un don de 5 $ à Diabète Québec afin de les aider dans leur mission de contrôle du diabète pour TOUS les Québécois (jusqu’à concurrence de 50 000 $).
Nous souhaitons remercier tous ceux qui ont pris le temps d'aimer, partager et commenter ces pages. Blue Light Exposed Campaign - Second year signed Toc Toc
We are very excited to be part of the second year of the Blue Light Exposed awareness Campaign that is launched this week across Canada and will reach an even broader number of Canadian. We partnered this year with Reader’s Digest and Best Health magazines in the October and November issues and online at their websites: readersdigest.ca, besthealthmag.ca.
The campaign’s mission is to educate the general population about the dangers of blue light over-exposure and provide practical solutions to address it. It's endorsed by the Opticians Association of Canada and sponsored by ophthalmic lens manufacturers Essilor Canada, Nikon Optical Canada and Shamir Canada.
And we have again this year our Anti-Blue Light Squad distributing our new Blue Light Glasses!
